NASA Space Shuttle Atlantis 1/300 Diecast Model with Stand
The Space Shuttle was developed and operated by NASA as part of the Space Transportation System program. It was the first orbital human spacecraft designed for reusability. The Space Shuttle Atlantis (OV-104) is named after a research ship of the same name. The maiden flight was STS-51J in October 1985. Orbiter Atlantis flew 33 missions and completed 4,848 orbits totaling over 125 million miles flown! Atlantis flew the final shuttle mission, STS -135 and landed at Kennedy Space Center on July 21, 2011. Atlantis is now retired and is proudly on display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Flordia.
This Die-cast metal model comes in 1:300 scale with stand and is approximately 4 3/4 inches long with 3 inch wingspan.
