Flight Miniatures Delta Airlines MD-88 1/200 Scale Model with Stand

On January 23, 1986, McDonnell Douglas launched the MD-88 as the last variant of the MD-80. Similar to the MD-82 and MD-83, this new designation incorporated an EFIS cockpit, a wind-shear warning system, and general updates to the cabin and trim. Delta Air Lines ordered a total of 80 MD-88 aircraft. Deliveries began in December 1987 and entered into service with Delta in January 1988. This model, bearing registration number N948DL and ship number 948, entered into service in December 1989. As of May 29, 2017, Delta's fleet consists of a total of 116 MD-88 aircraft.
